The INCREASING VALUE OF CERTIFICATION
Commvault's Certification Program validates expertise and advanced knowledge in topics, including Commvault Core Fundamentals, Implementation and Maintenance, Preparing for Disaster Recovery and more advanced Specialist and Master technologies.
Our data has demonstrated consistently that attaining — and maintaining — Commvault Certifications is the single most important driver of productivity and self-sufficiency. We regularly review and analyze our customer support data, and there is a direct correlation between skill levels and certifications and the volume of support incidents opened. Certified users log a fraction of the support incidents as their non-certified counterparts. Certification helps you to get the most out of your Commvault investment, increasing productivity, reducing down-time, and adding value to your career, as well!
“Commvault training has increased by tenfold our ability to operate and manage our Commvault environment.”
— Kelly McCoy

The IMPACT OF TRAINING
At Commvault, we value your feedback. It helps us to know what we're doing right with our training programs, and lets us know how we can make them even more useful to our students. It also tells us if the training is having a positive impact on the way you work.
For example, in a recent survey conducted for Commvault by customer evidence specialists TechValidate, we asked students to tell us how much of an impact their Commvault training was having on performance and operational efficiency. As in previous surveys, high marks were given to increases in functionality, efficiency, and performance, as well as a significant reduction in Support incidents. This confirms what we've suspected all along: A better-trained user gets significantly more value out of their Commvault investment, and reduces their need for Support calls, as well!
Your feedback is very important to us, and helps to keep us focused on what's most important to you. So if you happen to receive an email from TechValidate requesting your opinions on your Commvault training experience, please take a moment to let us know how we are doing. We do appreciate it!

BEN CARTER
Technical Trainer
Ben Carter joined Commvault’s training department in August 2011, and provides training to customers throughout the United States and Canada. Ben has worked in the IT field for more than 16 years, starting out as a Help Desk analyst for a financial brokerage firm in New York City. Ben realized that he wanted to move beyond the phone lines, to gain a more hands-on, face-to-face experience with customers, leading him to positions as a Project Manager and Training Coordinator for a multimedia company located in Philadelphia, PA, and ultimately, to Commvault.
Ben currently lives in Toms River, NJ, with his teenage son, Christopher. When he's not providing technical training for Commvault customers, Ben volunteers for several organizations, providing mentorship and life-skills training, in which Christopher sometimes acts as his assistant.
Ben enjoys being productive and has many interests; he’s currently completing an undergraduate degree in Psychology with a focus on human behavior. Ben is a firm believer in Commvault’s corporate vision and likes to incorporate their progressive and innovative approach to technology in every aspect of his professional career.
