Welcome to the latest edition of our Education Connections newsletter. As always, we're covering topics that underscore our commitment to educational quality and innovation. In this edition, we highlight some new course and certification offerings, along with a look at how some of our customers are benefiting from their Commvault® training.
We're getting closer to our inaugural Commvault user conference, Commvault GO™ 2016, to be held Oct 3-5, 2016 at the Rosen Shingle Creek Hotel and Conference Center, in Orlando, FL. This conference has been developed to help you learn how to unlock the potential in your data through better data insights, while at the same time leveraging best practices in data management designed to reduce risk and complexity, lower costs, and enable new technologies. There's still time for you to take advantage of special Discounted Training Sessions scheduled for the days before and after the conference, on Sunday, Oct. 2, Monday, Oct. 3, and Thursday, Oct. 6. New Commvault® Master Class (V11), CertIFICATION Exam, AND FREE V11 MASTER UPGRADE PREP SESSIONS

New Commvault Master Class (V11)
We're pleased to announce our new Commvault Master Class (V11). This 5-day Instructor-Led course not only covers everything that's new in V11, it also expands on the V10 curriculum with detailed discussions on Cloud, WebScale IT, hyper-converged infrastructure, and information governance. An optional Friday Workflow session has also been added.
For those of you who have already attained V10 Master status, we will be providing you with some excellent opportunities to upgrade your skills and learn how to get the most out of Commvault V11.
FREE V11 Upgrade Certification Exams, Now through October 31
There's never been a better time for you to upgrade your Commvault certification. We have extended Free access to the V11 Professional Upgrade exam and included the newly-released Commvault Master Upgrade exam. Free Commvault Master V11 Upgrade Prep Sessions
We are also now offering 1-day Virtual Instructor-Led sessions to prepare you for the Commvault Master V11 Upgrade Exam. We will also be sharing some brand new content, including V11-specific documents and presentation videos, as an added benefit for having attained Master status. If you are already V10 Master certified, we will be reaching out to you shortly with additional details. If you have not yet met all of your exam requirements to attain V10 Master status, we encourage you to do so as soon as possible, in order to take full advantage of these offerings.

MEET THE INSTRUCTOR |

 Mike Byrne
Senior Technical Instructor, Americas
Mike Byrne has been a Senior Technical Instructor with Commvault since April 2004. He is a Training Specialist in the areas of Security, Command Line Management and Firewalls with Commvault’s Product suite. He also designs and writes course content including delivering content for Commvault Certification.
Prior to joining Commvault, Mike worked as a Senior Systems Engineer — while also providing training services — for Omtool Ltd. He has also spent a few years providing technical training to NJ Work Force recipients at Amtech, Inc., and ServFast Computers of NJ.
Mike is our current technical expert for Networking and Command Line management with Commvault products.
When he's not delivering Commvault training, you can often find Mike out on the beach at night saltwater fishing, or during weekends, riding his motorcycle on the back roads of New Jersey. He also dabbles in photography, taking pictures of just about anything he comes across during his travels around the country.
