COMMVAULT® EDUCATION ADVANTAGE GETS NEW USER INTERFACE

Refreshed brand places enhanced focus on industry solutions and addresses the needs of increasingly mobile users

Commvault debuted a refreshed brand image at the Microsoft Ignite conference in Chicago, IL, in early May. This brand overhaul includes a new corporate logo, a more vibrant color palette, and informative product messaging and images that better reflect the company's overall vision.

The new brand experience has filtered into Commvault's Education Advantage web portal, optimized for mobile users, to reflect the increased utilization of mobile devices for an "any time, anywhere, any device" user experience.

COMMVAULT® EXPANDS Flipped Training

Unique, "hybrid" educational experience provides the experienced user with an accelerated learning path

Beginning in July 2015, we launched the first of our “Flipped Classroom” training courses, starting with “Deduplication Flipped Training.” The flipped classroom model brings together advances in education and technology to provide a personalized, engaging learning experience for every student – whatever their learning style, pace, or ability.

The idea behind the Flipped Training concept is to provide a user-directed "hybrid" learning environment that is especially suited to experienced Commvault users who need the flexibility of an “any time, any place” learning environment. After the success we had with our initial offering, we’re expanding the range of “Flipped” courses, and are looking forward to meeting the evolving needs of tech-savvy users everywhere. Stay tuned for announcements of additional courses that utilize the “Flipped” modality.

The VOICE OF THE LEARNER

How we keep our course material fresh
and relevant

At Commvault, we have a strong commitment to providing quality training, with a focus on helping our students to improve their ability to operate, manage, and optimize their Commvault environments.

A 2011 study by IDC determined that "well-trained teams derive more benefit from their technology investments than undertrained teams. When teams are sufficiently trained, their functional performance can be dramatically improved."

Our own research bears this out. To meet the needs of a wildly disparate customer base across multiple geographies, we offer flexible course format options — including Instructor-led classroom, virtual instructor-led classroom, eLearning, and onsite to meet our students' time and budget requirements. Through an initial online assessment exam, customers can evaluate how their own role-based knowledge compares to that of other IT Professionals, and receive a recommended curriculum path based on that assessment.
