By purchasing training units in a single transaction, you reduce the number of purchase transactions and ensure access to courseware and learning adapted to the needs of your business. Training Units are redeemable up to 12 months after purchase within an organization for any employee. These units can be used for all products in the Education Services Catalog.

How To Redeem Your Commvault Training Units
- Log into your existing EA account or create a new account: https://ea.commvault.com/Account/Login
- Choose your course, date and location and select Prepaid Training as the payment method.
- You will receive an In Progress email and then a Confirmation email a few days later (once the local registrar has confirmed the available Training Units). The Confirmation email will contain detailed information for your upcoming class.

What are the benefits of Commvault® Systems Training Units?
Commvault Systems Training Units make it easy to add training to your product or solution purchase. With Training Units, you can concurrently define your training needs, and purchase high quality training from Commvault Systems. You can also purchase Training Units by themselves, as posted on the Commvault Systems Price List, at any time.
Why do Training Units expire and for how long are they valid?
The expiration date for Training Units is one (1) year from the date of purchase. This requirement was implemented to encourage the timely use of training by our customers and to facilitate suitable revenue recognition timelines for Commvault Systems.
For what training can I redeem Training Units?
Training Units are redeemable for 12 months by all employees and their agents (e.g. subcontractors) within an organization for any Commvault Education Services offerings. These include instructor-led (ILT), virtual instructor-led (vILT), individual self-paced training courses or site licenses, Commvault Virtual Lab (CVLab) and certification exams.
Can I use Training Units for onsite classes?
Yes, you may use Training Units for onsite/private classes. Onsite/private classes are to be attended only by company employees and their agents. Seats in onsite/private classes may not be resold to other parties.
Can Training Units be resold, bartered or traded?
No. Training Units are only for use by employees and their agents (e.g. subcontractors) within the organization purchasing the Training Units.
Are Commvault® Systems Training Units available worldwide?

My company is international; can I purchase Training Units in one country and redeem them in another country?
Yes, Commvault® Systems Training Units can be purchased in one country and redeemed in another country. Since the face value of Training Units vary by country, the purchasing value of the Training Units will be converted to the country of course delivery (or country of purchase for self-paced training products).
How soon are Training Units available for use after I have purchased them?
You can redeem Commvault® Systems Training Units only after they have been credited to your account. This transfer occurs after you have placed the order and it has been invoiced by Commvault Systems. A Commvault Systems training representative will provide you with your sales order number, number of units purchased and expiration date, and customized Training Units Redemption Instructions by e-mail.
How do I purchase Training Units at Commvault® Systems?
You can purchase Commvault® Systems Training Units from any Commvault® Systems sales representative or Commvault® Systems authorized reseller.

Do I need to know what courses I’m going to take before I buy Training Units?
No, you do not need to know the courses beforehand; however, we highly recommend that you work with Commvault Systems or a channel partner who has the knowledge to help you assess and create an effective training plan.
What happens if I don’t use my Training Units before they expire?
Training Units are available for one year from the date of issue. Training Units not used by the expiration date will become invalid. Training courses must begin before the Training Units expire.
